Stories Come Alive has received rave reviews from
audiences and is included in the Orange County Performing
Arts Center Educational Roster. Stories Come Alive
uses familiar fairy tales and stories as a vehicle to introduce
young people to opera and musical theatre. Some of these stories
include:
Cinderella
Romeo and Juliet
Little Red Riding Hood
Beauty and the Beast
Created by co-founder Steve Parkin, this musical presentation
is highly interactive with the audience. The elaborately costumed
performance shows how modern composers use classical stories
as a basis for their own compositions.
Stories Come Alive is ideal for family series,
in-school programs or family festival performances. It is
highly interactive and brightly costumed and also quick paced,
educational and entertaining. An expanded version is also
available.
